About College of Architecture
The College of Architecture, established in 2010, provides training at various levels in different aspects of human habitat and the environment. The College of Architecture strives to be the institute of choice for the young minds who intend to pursue and be creative in the boundless field of architecture and design.
At the College of Architecture, teaching is based on interdisciplinary approaches, in addition to classroom learning through lectures, guest lectures, discussions, assignments, and comprehension. Students are required to participate in site visits and on-the-spot studies. Students are encouraged to critically observe, analyze and evaluate, so that they gain an understanding of investigative studies, application of concepts, and appreciate innovations in architectural design.
Students work with renowned architects during their one-year internship program so that they are well trained in their profession and get placed after graduation. The young graduate work in allied fields of architecture like Interior Decoration, Landscape, Urban Design and Town Planning. The College of Architecture placement department ensures that students find ample opportunities for work in public and private sectors or are able to start their own design studios.
