On 21st August 2017, Cisco Lab (3230) was inaugurated by Prof Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi (Principal, CCSIT) along with Mr Priyank Singhal (Cisco Certified Trainer) and Mr Rajendra Prashad Pandey (Cisco Certified Trainer). The occasion was to mark the closing ceremony of Cisco Short Term Course for the student’s batch of 2017.

Cisco Networking Academy, CCSIT, TMU conducts CCNA Routing and Switching job oriented certificate course every year during summer months (June-July). The students undergo rigorous training for the period of 45 days. The academy is active from the year 2010. In the current year the enrolled Cisco students configured Lab 3230 after successful completion of the course. They prepared cables with appropriate connectors, configured 3 switches, performed IP addressing and as a result fully configured lab of 60 computers was setup.

Prof Dwivedi on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the Cisco Trainers and the students for their hard work. He highlighted the fact that after Internet revolution now the drastic change can be seen with the introduction of IoT (Internet of Things). Networking domain has promising career for those who are skilled. Such branded course make students job-ready. With hard work and appropriate inputs the students can make their career bloom in the domain of networking.

The MCA students gave a detailed presentation about the steps they performed during the configuration of the lab. All the enrolled students were presented Cisco t-shirts as a token of appreciation.
