Teerthanker Mahaveer University has inaugurated Collaborative studies Program with IBM India Pvt. Ltd. Expert talk “Future of Industry based Collaborative Programs with IBM” was conducted in College of Computing Sciences & IT on 06-Sept. 2017, Wednesday. Ms. Shefali Dutta, IBM Consultant hosted this event. More than 150 Students from B.Tech (CSE) fisrt year students was addressed by Industry expert. The Topics of this event was Cloud & Mobile based application development, Big data and (Internet of things) IOT and their scope in Information Technology Industries. Prof. R.K Dwivedi elaborated the use of advanced technologies in human society. He explained how advancedment of Internet speed, nanotechnology and virtualization opened the door of ample opportunities for IT students. Later on Ms. Shefali dutta interacted with all students and explained the benefits of collaborative studies. She told IBM is one of the IT giant that provide services to Mocrosoft, Infosys, Google, Amdocs, Wipro, TCS like companies. She addresses that students those will opt B.Tech (CSE) programme with collaborative programs can make their future bright and can get salary package multi-folds as compared to existing job profile. Mr. Vinay Prakash, Programme coordinator added that IBM will also provide selected course material for students prepared by IT Experts as well as online account will be open with IBM. Students will get placement and training assistance in their final year of program. College Department head Dr. Ashendra Saxena, College admission team members Abhishek Saxena, jitendra Sharma, pradeep Sharma and Navneet Vishnoi were present and motivated all students and assured to provide full support for making better making carrier.
