On 19th October, Teerthanker Mahaveer University’s College of Computing Sciences & Informat

On 12th September 2017, CCSIT celebrated the orientation program for new students. Orientation Program started with the inaugural session in which chief guest was Prof. Dilip Sharma, IEEE Secretary. On this occasion Prof. Rakesh K. Dwivedi (Principal CCSIT) welcomed the new students and also gave the message that if we want to change the environment, first of all we have to change ourself. The primary purposes of this program were to

  • Determine if the New Student Orientation process is meeting the needs of incoming students
  • Reassess the goals of orientation.
  • Understand the impacts of orientation on student participants’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors.

Generally, this evaluation was designed to help provide an informed perspective on the major strengths and deficiencies of the New Student Orientation process so that data-driven program improvements are possible. Prof R. K. Mudgal (Vice Chancellor, TMU) encouraged the students and told about how to achieve the success in your carrier. After that Dr. Ashendra K. Saxena (HOD, CCSIT) discussed the life style of CCSIT. On this occasion cultural programmes had been performed by students such group songs, group dance etc. Dr Danish Ather (B.Sc. (Hons.) computer science) explained the complete internal and external examination system to the students and gave massage to the students if they are not regular they will punished in any manner. Mr. Shambhu Bhardwaj (Chief Proctor) told the discipline rules and committee to the students. After that Principal Excellency award had been given to students by Principal Sir. At last, Mr. Rupal Gupta (B.Tech.-CSE Coordinator) gave the vote of thanks.
