“Farewell Party” “We cannot say goodbye to those whom we have grown to love, for the memories we have made will last a lifetime, and will never know a goodbye.”

On 3rd May 2018 (Thursday), B.Sc(Hons.)CS juniors of CCSIT, TMU organized “Farewell Party”. The Chief Guest was Hon`ble Vice Chancellor Professor R.K Mudgal and Guest of honour was Dr. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi , Prof. & Principal, CCSIT.

In his address, Prof. Mudgal motivated the students as he emphasised the importance of B.Sc.(Hons.)CS graduates and their importance in today’s Information Technology driven society. Dr Dwivedi has highlighted the technology shift paradigm in the wide domain of IT and Computing. He focused on the new technologies that will be essentially required as an skills for any B.Sc.(Hons.)CS graduate to grab good opportunities in the market.

In the Morning, the event started with the Ganesh Vandana. Student from B.Sc.(Hons.)CS 1st year performed Dance by “Dishita Kaushik”. The beautiful and impeccable singing and funny act was performed by “Divin Kumar” and many more interesting and heart warming performances made the event enjoyable and memorable.

The party was concluded by ramp walk of all B.Sc.(Hons.)CS final year students. All the participants were dressed up in the best way they can. Then 10 students were shortlisted for Mr. & Ms. Farewell title out of 40. Participants had to perform the task given by their Host of the fashion show for one minute. After stiff competition finally 8 candidates were shortlisted for second round. After the question round Mr.Ishan Verma & Ms.Komal Preet Kaur won the title of Mr. Farewell and Miss Farewell. Mr. Ishan Verma got the title Mr. Richie Rich and Ms. Komal Preet Kaur won the prestigious award of Ms. Farewell with the title of Ms. Gloria.

The anchors for the party were Dishita Kaushik & Shilpi accompanied by Archit chauhan and Moh. Zaid. The honour of Mr. & Miss Farewell to the winners was given by Dr. Danish Ather Program In-charge , B.Sc(Hons.)CS ,CCSIT.

Hon`ble Vice Chancellor Prof. R.K Mudgal sir and Guest of Honour Dr Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Prof & Principle of CCSIT, advised the B.Sc.(Hons.)CS family members of CCSIT to maintain the same legacy as were maintained by their seniors. The event winded up by DJ dance performances and delicious Lunch.
