On the day of 11th September 2018, Orientation day of College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology for new entrants was celebrated at University Auditorium, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad.

The Hon’ble Chief Guest Prof. R M Dubey, Former Vice Chancellor IFTM University, Moradabad addressed the students and told them about carrier opportunity, success and goals .He also focused on “How to become a successful person in your life”.

The Guest of honour were Mr Surender S. Tanwar, CEO, ROSTAN Technologies PVT LTD, Gurgaon & Mr LakshmiPathi Raju, Chief Technology officer, ROSTAN Technologies PVT LTD, Gurgaon. They addressed the students about the carrier opportunity in the corporate world. How they focus and how they achieve?

On this occasion Prof. Rakesh K. Dwivedi (Principal CCSIT) welcomed the new students and also gave the message that as you joined TMU, you have many opportunities to learn more about yourself, your goals, and strengths and also said if we want to change the environment, first of all, we have to change ourselves.

The primary purpose of this program is to understand the impacts of orientation on student’s knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours and guide the students to achieve their goal in life. A campus tour was organized for the students during which the history of the college was told to them by the orientation leaders. They were also told the locations of the favourite hangout spots, where to go when you need medical care, and what the nicknames are for certain buildings or areas.

Prof Rakesh. K. Mudgal (Vice Chancellor, TMU) encouraged the new entrants and told about how to achieve the success in their carrier. He also advised the new entrants to interact with each other and make new friends as this will help them to share their knowledge and experience. As “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships”.

Dr. Ashendra K. Saxena ( HOD, CCSIT) discussed the lifestyle of CCSIT. On this occasion, cultural programmes were organised by students such as group songs, group dance etc. Mr Navneet Vishnoi (Examination Coordinator) explained the complete Internal and External Examination System to the students and convey the message that rules are equal for all. If anyone does not follow the rules then He / She will have to bear the cost of the disobedience. Mr Shambhu Bhardwaj (Chief Proctor) told the discipline rules to the students. After that Principal Excellency award had been given to the students by Principal Sir. On this occasion, Principal Sir, HOD sir and programme coordinators had distributed the training certificates to students. At last, Mr Rupal Gupta (B.Tech.-CSE Coordinator) had given the vote of thanks.
