On 19th October, Teerthanker Mahaveer University’s College of Computing Sciences & Informat

College of computing sciences and information technology organized Teej festival on 14 August 2018 under the banner of Women Empowerment Cell.

The program began with lighting the lamp in front of the idol of Maa Saraswati followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Hon’ble Chief Guest, The first lady of TMU Mrs.Veena Jain, and Esteemed member of TMU Society Mrs Richa Jain addressed the students and told them about the importance of Teej festival in our culture.

College principal Prof. Rakesh k. Dwivedi congratulated everybody on the occasion and conveyed a message that motto of organizing various cultural activities is to help students to gain knowledge, Improve Skills and help them to keep in touch with their culture. Dr Seema Awasthi, the chairperson of WEC, TMU and Dr.Vaishali Dhingra, Joint Registrar, TMU had addressed the students and encouraged their creativity.

The students had shown their spirit through Card making , Mehandi and Rangoli Competition. Paridhi from B.sc(Animation) was awarded the first prize in Card competition, Renu from BCA was awarded the first prize in Rangoli competition, Khushboo Mudgal and group from B.Sc(H)CS were awarded the first prize in the Mehandi contest.

College principal Prof. Rakesh k. Dwivedi was overwhelmed with the preparations and creativity of students. Students and the staff of CCSIT College, celebrated Teej with zeal and enthusiasm.
