College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology of TMU has organized two days workshop on “Implementation of Machine Learning Algorithms using Python” on 28-29 March 2019 in association with BrainMentors Pvt Ltd., New Delhi. The resource person of this workshop was Mr. Ravi Kant Tyagi (Trainer, BrainMentors Pvt Ltd, New Delhi). The workshop was started to lit the lamp before Maa Sarasvati by Professor Raghuvir Singh (Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor, TMU, Moradabad), Professor Rakesh Kr. Dwivedi (Principal, CCSIT), Mr. Ravi Kant Tyagi (external resource person), Dr. Ashendra Kr. Saxena (HOD, CCSIT), Mrs. Neeraj Kumari( Coordinator of the workshop). Mrs. Neeraj Kumari welcomed all and presented the theme of the workshop. She told that the main purpose to organize this workshop is to make the students aware of current trends in the IT field. She told that students would learn about the implementation of the KNN algorithm on the first day and ANN algorithm on the second day. Dr. Ashendra Kumar Saxena told that the world is moving towards automation. The main purpose is to reduce the task completion time and increase the accuracy of the result. On this occasion Pro. Raghuvir Singh told that organizing such kind of workshop is very helpful for our students. The students learn new trends in the field of technological developments. The topic of the workshop is very relevant today because machine learning is making our life easy today. He told various examples of uses of machine learning in the field of security, food/ fruit quality testing and grading, etc. He motivated the students to learn from the workshop. Mrs. Ranjana Sharma, Mrs. Anu Sharma, Mr. Deependra Rastogi, Mrs. Swati Vishnoi, Mr Pradeep Kr Shah, Mr Manoj Gupta and other faculty members and staff along with the participating students were presents. The anchor was Avinesh Tiwari.
