One day workshop programmed on “Cognitive Skills, Design and Critical Thinking” on 30 April 2019 was organized by College of Computing Sciences and Information technology, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad in association with IBM. Cognitive skills, design and critical thinking has become inevitable for the growth and development of new and emerging scenarios of Computer Engineering Sciences like Watson and devops. The goal of this workshop programmed is to bring together researchers and faculty from various part of college and to provide common platform to all academicians to exchange their ideas and expand their knowledge about the newly technologies and applications of Engineering. Skills are core facet for all engineering disciplines. To uplift interest of academicians to choose a prolific path of Engineering through a robust staircase of critical thinking we have given this workshop as a remedy. Participants came across new breeds of computer science in engineering whilst they were acknowledged by Ms. Shefaly Dutta, IBM and coordinated by Dr. R. K. Dwivedi, Principal CCSIT, TMU and Dr. Rajeev Kumar, associate professor, CCSIT, TMU, Moradabad. Useful topics such as “Cognitive Skills, Design and Critical Thinking” were discussed. A horde of 52 participants made the workshop a grand success. We are sure that this workshop will benefit all participants and their corresponding institutes in one or other way. We give an assurance of providing such platforms & benefits in the coming years also.
