On 19th October, Teerthanker Mahaveer University’s College of Computing Sciences & Informat

To commemorate the Independence of our great nation the cultural committee of CCSIT organized an Independence Day celebration (13th August).

The event was scheduled during the induction session to give the new students a chance to show their patriotism and feel like a part of the CCSIT family. Students from 1st year to the final years participated in the program and reminisced the leaders whom we owe our freedom. The event was inaugurated by dignitaries like Vice chancellor Prof. R K Mudgal, Principal Prof. RK Dwivedi.

The showcased their patriotism by setting small plays, danced with zeal on patriotic songs. Few performances also included of poems, singing songs themed around the patriotic spirit.

Speeches were delivered and the programme ended on a positive note where everyone sang the national anthem and took pledge to be a better citizen of the country.
