World AIDS Day was celebrated on 1st December 2018 by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, TMDCRC, TMU Campus.

Celebrating World AIDS day acts as an opportunity to create as much awareness as possible and show support for HIV positive patients. TMDCRC firmly believes that the future generation has the ability to sensitize others and prevent the spread of HIV. TMDCRC gives social activities equal importance to develop the budding doctors as better citizens and evolve into professional practitioners.

Doctors should have such qualities to help them be better in their profession and empathize with their patients. TMDCRC is proud to be one of the best top 50 BDS & MDS colleges in the country as it gives responsible citizens and specialists to the country every year through it’s educational practices.

The Program initiated at 10.00 AM with a welcome speech by Dr. Manish Goyal Principal TMDCRC where he briefed the importance of caution for the prevention of this dreaded disease.

Interactive session in the form of a collage making competition was held at TMDCRC where students of BDS 1st to final year participated. The collage making competition was assessed by Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Registrar TMU and Dr.Pradeep Tangade , Prof & Head.

Dr. Anamika Gupta, Dr. Ankita Gupta, Dr. Vikas Singh from the Department of Public Health Dentistry coordinated the event. The event ended up distributing prizes to the winners of the competition. Various posters and collages were posted to bring awareness in the patients about the disease.

The program was attended by Principal, Heads of Various Departments, Faculty members, Interns, Postgraduate and undergraduate students of the college.
