Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research
Centre is one of the premier institutes in the country
engaged in quality teaching, research and extension in
oral healthcare. Conforming to the Dental Council of
India (DCI) regulations, the college is fully equipped with
ultra-modern equipments in the dental clinics,
preclinical and research labs to create appropriate
environment for teaching, learning and patient care.
BDS course recognized by DCI consists of 4 year
curriculum followed by 1 year compulsory paid rotatory
internship & MDS programs in all 9 specialties approved
by DCI are contemporary, comprehensive and at parity
with international curriculum.
The focus of the institution is on the development of
graduates and post graduates whose training is at par
with any dental institution of national and international
repute. To infuse the world class training, college is
furnished with the state of art equipments and fullfledged
faculty. Added attention is given on developing
technically sound dentist who believes in moral and
ethical values and possesses good communication
skills to understand and treat their patients. Prominent
personalities from the profession are invited to share
their experiences, discuss and interact with the students and faculty on the issues confronting the profession of
dentistry. The college encourages the students and staff
alike to participate in national as well as international
seminars, conferences and workshops to get a
knowhow of the latest advances in the field of dental
science. The college is also proactive in organising
CDEs, seminars, workshop and community awareness
on regular basis to increase awareness among the
students and faculty on topics and problems of
contemporary relevance. Involvement of faculty in
research is reflected in their regular publications and
participation in numerous conferences.
The college endorses extracurricular activities for the
students and offers them enough opportunities to show
their hidden talent by holding sports and cultural festivals
annually.
