Teerthanker Mahveer University, an ultimate destination of world class education, holds its roots in the philosophy of Lord Mahaveer. Every year Paryushan Parv is celebrated, with great zeal, to offer an opportunity to focus on spirituality . It is a time of reflection on deeds and meditation and is marked by strict observance of the ten cardinal virtues: Forgiveness, Charity, Simplicity, Contentment, Truthfulness, Self-restraint, Fasting, Detachment, Humility and Continence. Students of different colleges of TMU worked round the clock to give superb performance on cultural ground. This year students of Faculty of Engineering got a chance to perform a skit named ‘ GAJMOTI’. The evening commenced with auspicious lamp lightening ceremony by hon’ble dignitaries followed by a traditional folk dance. Then the moment came for which everyone was waiting since long and that was the start of the skit Gajmoti. Students enacted both I & IInd part of gajmoti and made everyone spell bound. The performance given by so fascinating that the audience got by intoxicated. The evening received the closure with one more power pact dance performance which was highly appreciated all.
