Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel, Iron man of India, practical visionary & architect of modern & united India, is an immortal name in the history of India whose contribution to make the country free from the manacles of slavery can’t be penned down easily. He is the man who worked enormously to keep India afloat on path of unity & progress. Every year his birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day to provide an occasion to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of the nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. Faculty of Engineering, TMU honored the day by organizing various activities.
Speaker’s Paradise, club of Department of Humanities, organized an essay competition on Relevance & Importance of Sardar Patel in Today's Scenario. 31 students participated in the competition who strongly advocated that the principles of Sardar Patel are of utmost importance for nation’s unity & motivation since this is the time when India is trembling from both outside & inside. This is the high time when everyone, by following his teaching & methods, should shoulder the responsibility of making India as great and united as it was at the time of Patel. We should make him proud by protecting the nation both inside & outside form evil & anti national forces. The participants were judged by Dr.Zareen Farooq,Ms.Neha Anand and Mr.Rahul Rathore. Divyansh Jain, B.Tech Ec Ist year was acknowledged as the winner.Krishana Kumar Sarawgi, B.Tech EEE IInd year secured IInd position and Nimish Jain,B.Tech Ist Ec secured IIInd position

A quiz competition was organized by the Electronics club, which was conducted in the LT-1, at Faculty of Engineering, Teerthanker Mahaveer University for the students for Electrical & Electronics as well as Electronics and communication Branch.
The dignitaries that were being invited was Mr. Bidyut Chatterjee (HoD)(EEE) BRANCH ,Mrs. Sakshi Singh Deputy co-ordinator (EC) branches and all other esteemed faculty of both of the branches.
It was a great exposure for the students to get a little bit closer to Sardar Patel’s inspirational life
Atishay Jain, students from (EC 1st Year) secured first position, Rajat Jain (EEE 3rd year) Komal Gupta, Ruchi Jain students from (EC 3rd Year) secured the second position and,Bharat Pandey,Arun Rawat,Rabbani Hassan,& Divyanshu Jain,Tanishk Jain& Vaibhav Patil students from (EEE 3rd year & EC 1st year respectively) secured third position.
Run for Unity
A unity run around the Teerthanker Mahaveer University campus was organized, at 1100 hrs which was coordinated by Dr M.P.Singh and Dr Alok Mishra. The students of various colleges and a unit of NSS of FOE participated with full enthusiasm .The program was inaugurated by Vice- Chancellor Prof. R. K. Mudgal, who was accompanied by Prof. K.K. Pande and Dr. M. P. Singh.
