Foreign Delegates at University
A 24 members delegation from 16 countries visited the
University on December 26, 2011 along with the training coordinator Dr. Rishi
Raj Singh.
The team undergoing an eight weeks training at National
Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD) was on an
experiential learning visit to the University and also to understand the
functioning of Indian University system.
The delegation was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor Prof
R.K.Mittal who then shared the University’s Vision, Mission, programs offered
and the governance system working at the University.
The delegates had detailed discussion on admission process
and teaching pedagogies followed in the University. Some of the members wanted
to have collaborative programs with their countries so as to facilitate the flow
of students, scholars and faculty for mutual benefit. Later the delegates had
detailed discussion with Prof. K. K. Pande, Director International Affairs,
relating to the admission process followed for foreign students.
Then delegates visited the campus and were impressed by the
infrastructure developed in a short span of three years and wished that some
students from their country would come to the University for Studies during
their formal interaction with the Chancellor and the Group Vice Chairman. Dr
Singh desired that NIESBUD would like to collaborate with the University for
joint programs which was welcomed by the Chancellor of the University.
