“SPARDHA” is the function that is most eagerly awaited each year and celebrated with enthusiasm and vigour. College life is one of the most exciting and important phase in one’s life. During this festive environment, students come across several experiences, and display their various capacities. SPARDHA is not just for fun, it adds value to a student’s learning experience by participation in various events.

SPARDHA was inaugurated in the building of University Polytechnic by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Dean Academics & Director International Affairs of the University. The college was decorated with Buntings & Balloons. Well decorated gates and paths were prepared for the welcome of the guests. On the first day of the function the proceedings of the programme began with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Inaugural speech was delivered by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor afterwards dignitaries released balloons, symbol of peace and victory. Inauguration was a huge triumph whereby the students had prepared a caravan of events that were to take place in the following cultural fest.

The SPARDHA blast began with the colours of Rangoli followed by Model exhibition where students displayed their innovative skills & prepared working models on Automatic Gate Railway Crossing, Salt Water Indicator, Sound Amplifier, Adjustable Height Cooler Stand etc. Parallel to this students were also showing their creativity in Poster Making and Face Painting. In the evening Cultural Program was inaugurated by Honorable District Judge, Moradabad, Chancellor, Group Vice Chairman, Principal and Vice Principal by lamp lightening infront of the portrait of Maa Saraswati. Program started by enactment of Ganesh Vandana after that some other performances were staged by the students such as Patriotic Dance, Emotional Dance, Bhangra, Indo- western, Mugle – Azam Skit, Child Labour Skit, Poetry Recitation, Horror Act etc. At last vote of thanks was given by Vice principal. Program was anchored by Dr. Kartikey and Mr. Shalabh Gaur.

On the next day of Fest, Indoor sports were organized such as LAN Gaming Musical chair, Lemon Race, Lemon pick and Paper dance. Apart from these activities students also participated in Debate competition, Essay Competition and Singing Competition.
