TMU College of Law and Legal Studies is an emerging school imparting quality legal education in the state of Uttar Pradesh and is striving to make a mark in India and an educational experience at par with international standards. The College is renowned for the intellectual rigour of its curriculum keeping in mind corporate and industrial needs. The school offers three courses, BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) whereby students are trained in a holistic manner, preparing them to meet the demands of the legal profession. CLLS also involves the students to get acquainted with the Indian legal system through modern and unconventional pedagogy. Additionally, students have actively participated and excelled in moot court competitions, workshops, conferences, parliamentary debates, Model United Nations, and sporting events and have also published research papers in various National and International Journals.
Being a modern law school, we have the advantage of framing a modern curriculum with technologically supported higher legal education pedagogy aiming at honing skill sets most appropriate for lawyers. Our students have interned in different fields of practice during their winter and summer internship periods.
CLLS is committed to providing a creative and dynamic research environment for faculty, researchers and students and is determined in producing the nation’s leading research that contributes to scholarship and community. Legal research is taught to students in an early stage of their legal education as both a legal and lawyering skill, which can be a lifeboat for students. The College is aiming to create a centre where projects will be taken in contemporary areas.
The College of Law and Legal Studies in its attempt to expand its horizon in legal education has decided to introduce a two-year LL.M program commencing from 2023-2024. In addition, an LL.M executive program for working professionals would be introduced. In this regard, the College of Law has established a Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS) as per the UGC regulations, which will have a dedicated team of senior teachers competent to guide post-graduate scholars.

PHD PROGRAMME
The PhD programme at the College of Law and Legal Studies offers an opportunity for law students to engage in advanced research.
