Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Centre, established in the year 2005, is one of the prestigious and accredited dental institute. The college is well-equipped with a state-of-the-art dental clinical setup and a modern & majestic infrastructure. The college has a well-established simulated pre-clinical and research labs. A separate hostel for girls and boys situated in the serene environment with round the clock Wi-Fi connectivity and an uninterrupted supply makes it conducive for concentrated studies. The indoor and outdoor stadium gives a boost to athletic development. The BDS programme has an intake of 100 whereas; the MDS programme has an intake of 45 seats. The programmes are at par with International standards and fulfil all the regulations laid down by the Dental Council of India.

The satellite centres, located in various other areas of the district and two well-equipped mobile dental vans cater to the needs of the underprivileged. Special emphasis is laid on the training of the students to make them experts in the field with good communicative skills and professional understanding in order to treat various oro-dental diseases. The auditorium of the college with a seating capacity of 550 individuals serves to conduct various scientific programmes in which distinguished personalities from the dental fraternity are invited to share their positive life experiences with the students and the faculty.
