Business Plan Competition hosted by TMIMT to Empower Future Entrepreneurs
An exciting event, the Business Plan Competition was recently hosted by one of the best management colleges in India, TMIMT College of Management. This competition took place on the 13th of September 2023 at the college premises with an aim to facilitate the development of crucial skills and foster an entrepreneurial spirit among the participants.
Motive of the Event
The event aimed to provide a platform for BBA 3rd Semester students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. In the presence of Prof Vipin Jain, the Principal of TMIMT, the atmosphere was charged with excitement. The overarching goal of the competition was clear – to foster a meaningful learning experience for students interested in entrepreneurial ventures.
Highlights of the Competition
The competition was organised to encourage students towards entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants demonstrated their unique business ideas through PowerPoint presentations. The event exposed so much talent and exceptional business plans to look into. It motivated students to opt for entrepreneurship and business as a career.
Learning Objectives of the Event
Participation in the competition promised a range of learning objectives. All BBA Semester III students gathered to participate in a presentation competition. The focal point was the Business Plan Competition, designed to equip students with essential skills for future entrepreneurial endeavours. Students were expected to identify business opportunities, develop a business model, and articulate their ideas in a formal business plan. The competition also aimed to enhance skills in market research, feasibility analysis, communication, and organizational abilities.
Students’ Experience
In the pursuit of creating a compelling business plan, students addressed critical aspects such as the novelty and competitiveness of their ideas, marketing strategies, financial projections, and other elements crucial for a successful entrepreneurial venture.
