National Science Day-2019

Faculty of Engineering, Teerthanker Mahaveer University organized National Science Day on 28, Feb, 2019 with full enthusiasm and energy. The students of B.Tech. and Applied Science were involved shoulder to shoulder to make this event outstanding and distinguishable unique event in every respect.

The students decorated the ground floor and gate with colorful balloons. Prof. Ajay Ruhela Director FoE, invited guest Prof. Rakesh Diwedi, Principal CCSIT, Faculty members of all department were invited to grace the occasion and to cut the cake on this fabulous day of achievement.

Every one recalled, Sir C V Raman for his discovery, known as Raman Effect on 28, Feb., 1928 and received Noble Prize in Physics in 1930. Event coordinator, Ms. Neha Anand, along with other coordinators for different activities Dr. Zareen Farooq, Dr Asim Ahmad, Mr Umesh, Mr Ankit, Mr Aksh, Ms.Ruchi Agarwal Mr Rahul Rathore , Mrs Gulista Khan , Dr Ajay Upadhyay, Mr Kamal Gola , gathered around the round table to celebrate the cake ceremony . The students made working models, Participated in Chart competition, Quiz competition, along with stalls and creativity. In fact, it was a grand event in sweet memory of our eminent scholar, Sir C V Raman, then they visited the science exhibition held in the building to encourage and appreciate the students??? intelligence and hardworking. Following the order, a number of activities like poster making, quizzes, food fest, games, were conducted to welcome the creativity of the students and help them grow in round development of their personalities. The Judges after careful observation and discussion declared the results for every participation. The students were admired with trophies, and cash prize of Rupees 1000/ and Rs 500 / for every winner and runner.

For the encouragement of the students, prize distribution was also a part of this special occasion. Winner and runner of project demonstration, technical quiz, poster making etc. were awarded. Consolation prizes were also given for further participation. Awarded students are: Winner in poster making: Mohd Shadab Siddiqui, Sanchita Jain & Deeya Sharma. Runner in poster making: Priya Bajeta and Harshit Bajeta.

In Technical Quiz, the winner was Meghali Tyagi, Stuti Sharma, Simran Chauhan, Aakanksha Sharma and Abhishek Sharma and runner-up was Ayushi Jain, Rajat Jain and Rahul Kochar.
Consolation Prize winner was Abhishek Nahar, Araf al Hamd, Shristy Jain, Sarvagya Jain and Akshat.

This was a great day and wonderful fusion of Science Day and Music also. After prize distribution they were allowed to enjoy Music and dance on this great day of achievement for Noble Laurate. The students expressed their talent in the field of dance and songs and shed their sweat in great emotional feeling for The Teerthanker Mahaveer University and Nation.
