TMU Physiotherapy Department Inaugurates Physio Olympics for Fit India Week
Grand Opening of Physio Olympics at TMU: Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, inaugurated a three-day Physio Olympics under the banner of Fit India Week. The event commenced with a grand ceremony at the university’s indoor sports stadium, marked by the lighting of a lamp and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event was flagged off by Dean Academics, Prof. Manjula Jain, along with Dr. Neelima Jain and Dr. Shivani M. Kaul, HOD of Physiotherapy, by releasing balloons.The opening witnessed an impressive march-past by all six teams from the Physiotherapy Department, symbolising unity and enthusiasm.
Diverse Competitions to Promote Health and Team Spirit
The three-day event features an exciting lineup of competitions, including:

- Badminton

Highlights from Day One Competitions
Day one featured volleyball and women’s badminton matches:
- Volleyball (Men’s): The BPT third-semester Section B team, led by captain Ali Abbas, emerged victorious. The team included Moinduddin, Shoaib Alam, Syed Jaan, Siddharth, Wasim Saifi, Chandan Kumar Yadav, and Sahai Uman.
- Badminton (Women’s Singles): Sakshi from BPT third-semester Section A secured the first position, with Pallavi coming second.
Faculty and Event Coordinators
The event was supported by faculty members, including Mr Harish Sharma, Mr Nandkishor Saha, Ms Samarpita Senapati, Mrs Himani, Mrs Shipra Gangwar, Mr Ranjit Tiwari, Mrs Neelam Chauhan, Ms Sonam Nidhi, Ms Kamini Sharma, and Ms Muskan Jain.
