Aarambh: The Orientation Day at Teerthanker Mahaveer University

Orientation programmes play a crucial role in welcoming new students and acquainting them with the university's culture and expectations. Teerthanker Mahaveer University organised an induction programme named Aarambh for BBA (International Business) and MBA (Corporate) students. The event was hosted by TMIMT College of Management, one of the top management colleges in India, on September 4th, 2023.

Distinguished Presence at the Event

Mr. Santosh Kumar, AGM at SBI, Moradabad, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside the host institution, TMIMT College of Management. The event also welcomed notable personalities such as Mr Abhishek Srivastava (Deputy General Manager, Reliance Jio), Mr Rachit Agarwal (Owner, Gift International), Prof. Vipin Jain (Principal, TMIMT, TMU), and Dr. Rachit Agarwal (CEO, UR Services Pvt. Ltd.).

Motive of the Orientation 

The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana, creating an auspicious atmosphere. The primary objective of Aarambh was to provide new students with comprehensive information about the university and college. It also aimed to familiarise students with their chosen programmes and empower them to contribute positively to the university and society. The event saw the active participation of BBA (IB) & MBA(Corporate) First Year Students.

Distinguished speakers shared valuable insights. Mr. Santosh Kumar, in his address, emphasised the role of students in contributing to the university, state, and country. Mr. Abhishek Srivastava and Mr. Rachit Agarwal shared experiences and guidance for the students’ future endeavours.
