CDE ON LASERS IN DENTISTRY
TMDCRC’s Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology organized a CDE program on “Role of Lasers in Dentistry” on 3rd and 4th December 2018. TMDCRC, a well-known dental college having programs of BDS, MDS along with a research center.
The event was well attended by the delegates from the TMDCRC and various others across India. The event was graced by the presence of Teerthanker Mahaveer University Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K.Mudgal, Principal Dr.Manish Goyal, Joint Registrar- Governance TMU Dr. Aditya Sharma, Dr. Govilla president state dental council of Uttar Pradesh along with HOD Oral Medicine Radiology, Heads of various departments of TMDCRC.
The speaker for the day was Dr. Ena Mathur, who emphasized the role of lasers in dentistry. She stressed the students to inculcate lasers in various day to day dental procedures. The event also had a workshop conducted by Dr. Ena Mathur herself, who trained the students about how to operate the laser units legibly on the patients.
Laser dentistry is the new advancement that should be incorporated and taught to the students. TMDCRC believes that such steps will prove fruitful for the development of the students and takes efforts to make sure the students get the best knowledge and be updated with the techniques practiced in the outside world.
