Continuing Dental Education Program (CDE)
Continuing dental education program (CDE) was organized by the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College & Research Centre, on 17th December 2018.
The program was themed as ‘Digital Nemoceph’ under the invaluable guidance of Dr. Manish Goyal Principal TMDCRC and Head of Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. R.K. Mudgal Vice-chancellor, Teerththanker Mahaveer University along with Mr. K.K. Pandey Dean Academics, TMU and Dr. S.K. Jain Vice Principal, Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College graced the event by their presence.
Mr. Sanjeev Singhal, distributor Nemoceph Software introduced the postgraduate students and faculty of the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics with the NemoCeph software and its various applications.
The CDE program began by lighting the lamp by the hands of all the distinguished dignitaries. Principal Dr. Manish Goyal presented a welcome address to all the guests, students and teachers. Vice-chancellor Dr. R.K. Mudgal, Mr. K.K. Pandey, and Dr. S.K. Jain extended their best wishes for the academic saga. They mentioned about the benefits of inculcating digitization in radiographic analysis in the management, treatment planning of patients requiring orthodontic correction.
Briefly, it was an innovative experience and a great opportunity to learn a new technology that is directly related to advancing the diagnosis and treatment planning in orthodontics. The main driving force behind the success of the event was Dr. Manish Goyal, Principal, and Head of Department Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, TMDCRC along with the efforts of the organizing committee secretary, Dr. Mukesh Kumar was priceless as he was the man behind the curtains in the organization of this event along with other organizing committee members.
TMDCRC management tries their level best to bring in innovation for the advancement of their students as much as possible. Now with the assistance of such equipped tools like NemoCeph students can get a better understanding of the problem and its required correction. Such developments in the educational practices make TMDCRC as one of the widely popular institutes of BDS & MDS studies.
