Industrial Visit to IBM by TMU Students
Students from the Computer Engineering Department at CCSIT had an exciting opportunity to dive into the realm of technological advancements. They embarked on a visit to IBM in Gurgaon, gaining valuable insights and experiences in the heart of innovation. TMU is among the top universities in India providing experiential learning through such visits and events to students.

On the 29th of September 2023, 30 students of B.Tech. CSE – IBM Computer Science (4th & 3rd Year) visited the IBM Gurgaon office. The visit, organised by the Computer Science Engineering Department, aimed to provide practical insights into the industrial aspects of the technological domain.
Purpose of the Visit
The primary objective was to equip students with practical knowledge about industrial aspects in the technological domain, offering a glimpse into industry work domains and culture. The visit aimed at gaining practical knowledge about industrial aspects, and understanding industry work domains, and cultural nuances.
Description of the Event
The visit encompassed various aspects, from understanding the concept of Artificial Intelligence to exploring the software-based labour model, including intelligent overflow, IBM digital worker, and generic automation/bots. Accompanied by Mr. Manish Tiwari and Mr. Amit Singh, the students delved into the dynamic world of IBM, gaining firsthand experience and knowledge.
The outcome of the visit
The students left IBM, Gurgaon, with a wealth of knowledge, understanding concepts like process transformation, software-based labor models, and insights into industry evolution. The Computer Engineering Department extended heartfelt thanks to respected Principal Sir, Dr. R.K. Dwivedi, for his motivation and support in facilitating such enriching activities.
