The event was hosted by the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Development (CTLD) to better prepare students for real-world industry demands and to evaluate their technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Objective of the Mock Recruitment Drive

The primary goal of “Samarthya Bodh 3.0” was to assess the students' readiness for placements by simulating a real-world recruitment process. By engaging students in a variety of assessment stages, the drive provided them with a clear picture of industry expectations, equipping them with the right skills to meet these demands.

Day 1: Guidance and Written Evaluation

The first day of the event was dedicated to providing students with insights from industry experts. Students were exposed to the realities of the corporate world, including the challenges they may face and the expectations employers have of fresh graduates. This was followed by a written evaluation, which saw the participation of 210 students. Out of them, 71 students qualified for the next round, which involved a Group Discussion (GD) session.

Day 2: Group Discussion and Interview Rounds

The second day focused on testing students' clarity of thought, leadership abilities, and communication skills through a rigorous group discussion round. Of the 71 students who qualified, 51 performed exceptionally well, securing their place in the technical and HR interview stages. These interviews were designed to assess their technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and professional demeanour.

Final Round: Mock Job Offers

The final round saw a detailed assessment of the students' performance in the technical and HR interviews. A total of 30 students were selected for mock job offers, marking a significant achievement in their placement preparation. The mock job offers included packages of 10 LPA for 5 students, 7 LPA for 11 students, and 5 LPA for 14 students. This not only reflected the students’ talent and readiness but also demonstrated the effectiveness of the university’s training system.
