National Voters Day 2025: Honour and Recognition for SVEEP Activities

On January 25, 2025, National Voters Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and honour at Panchayat Bhawan, Moradabad, as several distinguished individuals came together to recognise the successful activities organised under the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program during 2024–25.

Prominent leaders attended the event, including Sh. Anuj Kumar Singh, District Magistrate (DM); Sh. Sumit Yadav, Chief Development Officer (CDO); Sh. Gulab Chand, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) (E); Sh. D.K. Pande, District Inspector of Schools (DIOS); and Sh. Ram Mohan Meena, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sadar. They expressed appreciation for the concerted efforts made to engage and educate voters in the region.

Acknowledgement and Gratitude for Continuous Support

The recognition was not only a testament to the organisers' hard work, but it also reflected the unwavering support provided by the higher authorities. The team expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chancellor Suresh Jain, GVC Manish Jain, Vice Chancellor VK Jain, and the NSS coordinators for their constant encouragement and invaluable guidance throughout the year.

MP Singh, who represents Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), played a pivotal role in successfully organising these SVEEP activities. His dedication to spreading voter awareness and the support from TMU have been instrumental in the program’s success. The active involvement of the university's students, faculty, and staff in these initiatives showcases the institution’s commitment to civic engagement and societal progress.

The event on National Voters Day underscored the importance of voter education and the role of various stakeholders in ensuring that citizens are well-informed and motivated to exercise their voting rights. Through these activities, the region continues to see increased active voter participation, setting an inspiring example for other areas to follow.
