Rock- On VIII: Guru Randhawa Live At TMU’s Star Night
March 19, 2023, In continuing the celebration of the Convocation 2023, The third and final day of the three-day extravaganza of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad witnessed the melodious performance of amazing singer Guru Randhawa and two rockstars Afsana Khan and Saajz at TMU’s RockOn-VIII. This star night was full of energy and excitement with top hits like - “High Rated Gabru”, “Made in India”, “Patola”, “Lagdi Lahore Di” and much more.
The electrifying LIVE performance by Punjabi singing star Guru Randhawa at Teerthanker Mahaveer University makes the audience capitulate with his songs. Thousands of students danced in sync with the celebrities, colorful lights twinkling, thunderous applause, the flash of mobiles, and noises of once-more keep echoing in the TMU campus till late night.
The level of excitement was extraordinary. Students cry in excitement and are seen recording the captivating memories in their mobiles. The craziness reached its limits when even the feet of the guest started shaking on their own. Glimpses of the wonderful confluence of Guru's Sur, Saaj, and Bhangada were seen at the same time in TMU's Star Night.
Earlier, Punjabi singers- Afsana Khan and Saaj were also enthralled with their tunes. Chancellor Mr. Suresh Jain, First Lady Mrs. Bina Jain, GVC Mr. Manish Jain, Mrs. Richa Jain, Executive Director Mr. Akshat Jain, Ms. Nandini Jain, VC Pro. Raghuveer Singh, Registrar Dr. Aditya Sharma, Dean Prof. Manjula Jain, Director of Students Welfare, Prof. M. P. Singh, Director of Administration Mr. Abhishek Kapoor, etc had a dignified presence.
Punjabi songs increased the heartbeat of the youth. Guru Randhawa at TMU urged everyone to enjoy the stunning night to the fullest. One by one the Guru sent a flurry of his amazing songs. The magnificence of loud music and multicolored lights was being created on sight. In the crowd of more than ten thousand students present in the campus, there was a vision of passion for Guru Randhawa. Everyone was eager to catch a glimpse of Guru Randhawa, who was seen dancing on his songs. Through Facebook Live, the students shared the Guru's presence with their friends.
Since 2008, Teerthanker Mahaveer University has been organizing Rock-On with full enthusiasm and active participation by the students. In the past, eminent performers like Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Mika Singh, Sonu Nigam, Band of Boys, Amaal Mallik & Armaan Mallik, and many others have graced the shows. Students and alumni contribute to the events creatively and participate in shows and events throughout the festival.
