TMU CCSIT Conducts ServiceNow Workshop, Emphasising the Importance of Alumni Events for Student Growth

Moradabad, April 2025 — The College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology (CCSIT) at Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) recently hosted a highly impactful workshop on ServiceNow and Post-Workshop Training, aimed at equipping students with industry-centric skills and deepening their understanding of corporate dynamics.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Nikhil Rastogi, from TMU Alumni Relations Cell; along with key speakers including Nikhil Sinha (Senior Technical Consultant, Vrkodhara Solutions, Noida), Abhishek Porwal (Technical Consultant), Karan Madan (Solution Architect), and Rishika Rastogi (Senior Software Developer).

Workshop Objective and Highlights

In his welcome address, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi emphasised the significance of organising workshops that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

The speakers highlighted the growing importance of ServiceNow in the IT industry, discussing its role in business automation, IT service management (ITSM), and the extensive career opportunities it presents.

In his address, Dr. Priyank Singhal underscored the significance of such workshops, highlighting the Alumni Association’s longstanding relationship with distinguished graduates.
He stressed that organising alumni talks, lectures, and workshops has been a regular practice, aimed at enriching students’ knowledge, offering career guidance, and fostering industry connections.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, particularly during the interactive Q&A session, where they posed insightful questions to the industry experts.

The session was professionally anchored by students Vani Jain and Aakriti Jain, while Dr. Rupal Gupta delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, speakers, and students.
