TMU Hosts Guest Lecture on Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan
The Faculty of Education, TMU successfully organized a guest lecture on 20 March 2025, titled "Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan: An Analysis", which covered how India can become self-reliant.

The event featured Dr. Ajit Singh, Associate Professor at M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, as the keynote speaker. The programme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Singh, Dean, DSW, and Dr. Vinod Kumar Jain, Principal, Faculty of Education, as the chief guest. Dr. Shaifali Jain, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event, while students Zoya Khan and Navodita Bisht efficiently conducted the proceedings.
The session began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp in reverence to Goddess Saraswati, marking an auspicious start. Students from various departments attended the event in large numbers.
Key Discussions on Atmanirbhar Bharat
Dr. Vinod Kumar Jain welcomed the guest speaker with a floral tribute, followed by a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Singh, who advised students to retain key insights from such enriching lectures.
During the lecture, Dr. Ajit Singh provided an in-depth analysis of the five pillars of Atmanirbhar Bharat:
- Economy
- Infrastructure
- System
- Vibrant Demography
- Demand
He elaborated on how this initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a self-reliant India. He also recalled PM Modi’s address on 12 May 2020, where he officially launched the initiative and explained its significance by citing global examples.
Dr. Singh encouraged the youth to take pride in India’s rich cultural heritage and work towards preserving it for future generations.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Shaifali Jain, expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors. The lecture proved to be an insightful session, inspiring students to embrace the principles of self-reliance.
