TMU Leads the Way in Cyber Security & Block Chain with New Center of Excellence
An MoU between Whizhack Technologies and University has been signed to establish the Center of Excellence. Whizhack Technologies is India's only vertically integrated cybersecurity organisation. Moradabad students can now take up Cyber Security as a vocation without having to travel to metro cities and incurring monthly establishment costs
May 2, 2023. | Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), the top private University in UP, has achieved a momentous breakthrough by entering into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Whizhack Technologies. This remarkable alliance will propel TMU to new heights by establishing a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence dedicated to Cybersecurity and Blockchain, making it the first of its kind in Uttar Pradesh.
University administration and team Whizhack Technologies gathered for an MoU signing ceremony on Friday at the University. The ceremony witnessed Dr. Manjula Jain, Dr. Aditya Sharma, Kallol Sil, Sanjay Sengupta, and Somnath Banerjee, among other key people.
As a part of the deal, Whizhack Technologies will undertake Faculty Development Programs for the University and will offer students certifications, integrated undergraduate and postgraduate courses with live projects, internships powered with Whizhack's labs, and WhizRange to practice, along with hosting various kinds of competitions like CTFs, Hackathons, and AI Challenge events.
Dr. Manjula Jain, Dean Academics, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. She began her remark by making an announcement that we'll be initiating two new programmes, i.e. MBA in Cyber Security and B.Com in Block Chain. This strategic collaboration will equip our students with the latest technologies and tackle emerging threats. Students from various fields such as engineering, medical, management, legal, and more can leverage the benefits through this partnership.
Registrar Dr. Aditya Sharma highlighted the university's focus on driving excellence in cybersecurity, contributing to industry growth. According to him, this Centre of Excellence will provide TMU students with comprehensive tools, techniques, and knowledge to excel in cyber security, network security, cryptography, secure software development threat intelligence, and blockchain. It'll include a series of events, workshops, hackathons, and games that will prepare the students for future challenges.
Kallol Sil, CEO of Whizhack Technologies, emphasised the collaboration's potential to create ample job opportunities for TMU students. With cybersecurity breaches on the rise and data breaches costing millions, robust cybersecurity measures are crucial. TMU's initiative is a turning point in effectively mitigating cyber security risks.
