About MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Anatomy

MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Anatomy is a three-year non-clinical postgraduate programme that focuses on the comprehensive study of the structure of the human body. Offered as a core foundational discipline in medical education, the programme trains students to understand human anatomy through both theoretical learning and practical dissection-based exploration.

Students are also introduced to surface marking of the human body, evolutionary concepts, and anthropological approaches that support a deeper understanding of human development and variability.

Eligibility: Candidates must have completed MBBS from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
