MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Physiology is a Non Clinical Speciality course. Doctor of Medicine in Physiology explores the studies of normal biological function, which provide the basis for understanding the abnormal function seen in human disease and for developing new methods for treating those diseases through translational research. It is a three year postgraduation course and any MBBS degree holders from a University recognized by Medical Council of India can pursue this course. Physiologists can work in the departments of physiology as well as in some other departments of neurophysiology, pharmacology, cell biology, and biochemistry.
