TMU and University Putra Malaysia Host International E-Mobility Programme on “Tree, Tech & Tradition”

Moradabad, April 2025 — In a significant step towards enhancing international academic collaboration, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), in association with University Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully hosted a two-day International E-Mobility Programme. The event marked the first academic initiative following the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two universities, aiming to foster mutual academic growth and global excellence.

Theme: “Tree, Tech & Tradition”

Centred around the theme “Tree, Tech & Tradition”, the programme encouraged participating students to explore contemporary and impactful topics, including environmental conservation, technological innovation, and cultural heritage. Presentations delved into critical global issues such as microplastic pollution, sustainable agriculture, and marine ecosystem preservation.

Students from TMU’s Faculty of Pharmacy, Computer Sciences, and Agriculture demonstrated notable engagement and provided well-researched insights on these subjects, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to sustainability and innovation.

Key Contributions and Delegations

The event witnessed the active involvement of the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) delegation, with Dr. Kiren and Dr. Nurasma playing pivotal roles in enriching the sessions with their academic and cultural perspectives. Their presence and interaction with TMU students made the platform collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually vibrant.

On TMU’s side, the event was steered to success by Dr. Neha Anand and Mr. Dilip Varshney from the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Development (CTLD) team, who played a crucial role in coordinating the programme.
