India Space Week 2025 to Celebrate Space Education and Innovation Nationwide
India will celebrate India Space Week 2025 from 12 to 18 August under the theme "Space Education and Innovation". Organised annually by Bharat Antriksh Saptah in memory of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space programme and founder of ISRO, the event aims to inspire students and citizens towards scientific thinking, technological innovation, and exploration in space science.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the initiative during his Mann Ki Baat address in August 2024, recognising its role in spreading space awareness and nurturing future scientists.
