The College of Paramedical Sciences, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), hosted a vibrant and spectacular celebration, SAFAR 2025 – Farewell & Fresher’s Party, which filled the campus with joy, entertainment, and emotional moments. The event brought together students, faculty members, and guests to celebrate new beginnings while bidding a warm farewell to the outgoing batch. The programme created a lively and festive atmosphere and became a memorable day for everyone present.
Opening Ceremony and Esteemed Guests
The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, marking an auspicious start to the celebration. The ceremony was held in the respected presence of Prof. (Dr) Navneet Kumar, Principal, along with senior faculty members of the college.
The occasion was further honoured by the presence of Dr Shalabh Agarwal, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. His presence added great value and dignity to the celebration. The guests appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to continue working hard in their academic and professional journeys.
Cultural Performances Steal the Show
Students showcased their talents through a series of beautiful cultural performances that kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The programme opened with a devotional welcome song, “Deva Shree Ganesha”, sung by a paramedical student. The soulful performance created a positive and energetic atmosphere. This was followed by a graceful duet dance performance on “Marham”, which received warm applause from the audience.
A total of 221 Diploma students actively participated in the ceremony, each adding energy and excitement to the celebration. The audience enjoyed every performance and appreciated the dedication and hard work of the students. First-year students walked the ramp with confidence and style, followed by an equally glamorous ramp walk by the senior batch. Both groups impressed the audience with their elegance and confidence.
Later, students from both batches came together for a group dance performance, which beautifully symbolised unity, togetherness, and new beginnings. The performance reflected strong bonding among students and created emotional moments for many.
