Moradabad, March 2025: Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), through its TIMT College of Physical Education, successfully organised the Inter-Collegiate Championship 2025, featuring a spirited display of athletics and table tennis competitions. The event witnessed wide participation, intense competition, and outstanding performances across multiple categories.
Highlights from Athletics Events
The athletics events were a major highlight of the championship, bringing out the best in speed, strength, and precision:
- 100-Metre Girls’ Final:Riya from the College of Physical Education secured 1st place with a timing of 14.79 seconds.
- 200-Metre Boys’ Final:Avinash from the College of Agriculture won with a 25-second sprint.
- Javelin Throw Boys:Amrit from the College of Physical Education clinched gold with a throw of 39.02 metres.
- Long Jump Boys:Nirdosh Yadav, also from the College of Physical Education, leapt 5.55 metres to win the top spot.
- Triple Jump Boys: Nirdosh Yadav earned his second gold with an 11.23-metre jump.
- Bench Press (Men):Mohammad Umar from the College of Physiotherapy impressed with a 122-kilogram lift, taking the gold medal.

Table Tennis Results
The table tennis events delivered exciting and competitive matches that showcased exceptional hand-eye coordination and teamwork:
- Boys’ Final: The College of Management triumphed over the Medical College with a 2-0 victory, earning the gold medal.
- Third Place Playoff (Boys): The College of Physical Education edged past CCSIT College with a 2-1 win, securing bronze.
- Girls’ Final: The Medical College defeated the Nursing College in a thrilling 2-0 match, claiming gold in the girls’ category.
