MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Paediatrics is a three-year clinical postgraduate programme dedicated to the specialised medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Offered by the Medical College & Research Centre at Teerthanker Mahaveer University, the programme provides in-depth training in preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative aspects of child health. Students gain expertise in managing a broad spectrum of paediatric illnesses and developmental disorders, while also being trained in neonatal care, immunisation protocols, and emergency paediatrics. The curriculum integrates academic knowledge with clinical exposure, ensuring that graduates are equipped to deliver ethical, evidence-based, and compassionate care aligned with national healthcare standards. Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution and be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
