MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Paediatrics is a three-year Clinical Speciality postgraduate programme offered by the Medical College & Research Centre, Teerthanker Mahaveer University. Paediatrics is the branch of medicine focused on the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents, typically ranging from birth to 18 years of age.
The course is designed to train future paediatricians to recognise and address the unique health needs of neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. It equips them with the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide preventive, diagnostic, curative, and rehabilitative care while upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and health policy guidelines.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution and must be permanently registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
