About MS (Master of Science) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) is a three-year postgraduate programme offered by the Medical College & Research Centre, Teerthanker Mahaveer University. This comprehensive course combines the disciplines of obstetrics (pregnancy and childbirth) and gynaecology (female reproductive health) into a single training programme, equipping graduates with the skills required to manage a wide range of women's health issues.

The programme provides in-depth knowledge, clinical acumen, and procedural skills needed to effectively manage pregnancy and its complications, disorders of the female reproductive system, and issues related to human reproduction. It includes both medical and surgical training, enabling graduates to perform essential procedures and provide holistic care.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution and be permanently registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
