TRAVEL & HOUSING
The students are suggested to move into the hostel at least one day in advance according to their orientation scheule.
In case the student has planned to arrive early on campus, the university will provide him/her with the hostel facility to store the belongings.
Yes, accommodation for parents is available in the hostel. The preferred stay is generally forone day."
The students are supposed to bring the following items for their hostel room: a lock with three keys for the room, one small lock for the cupboard, bedding, one each of bucket, mug, dustbin, doormat, plate, bowl, glass, water bottle, spoon, and personal toiletry items."

The bedding includes one mattress, two bed sheets, one pillow, two pillow covers, one quilt, and one blanket. The bed sheet should be of standard size for a single bed.
The hostel is managed by three key people: wardens, chief hostel warden, and general manager.
Once you reach the university campus, the university will provide manpower to assist students in shifting their belongings to their hostel rooms.
Students are not allowed to move out during academic hours unless there is an emergency. However, they can go out in the evening according to the outing schedule by following the proper procedure.
PAYMENT
There is a branch of Punjab National Bank located near the main gate of the university campus where you can open a bank account. Additionally, there are ATMs available for cash withdrawal.
Yes, Teerthanker Mahaveer University supports deserving and meritorious students in availing financial assistance for their higher education. While most banks provide attractive loan facilities to students, TMU has specifically tied up with Punjab National Bank (PNB) to facilitate the loan process for students.
To pay your pending fees, you have two options available:
Online Payment:You can make the payment online using methods such as NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer), Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Cash Payment:If you prefer to make a cash payment, you can visit the fee counters designated by the university. There, you can pay your pending fees in cash.
After submitting your fees, you can obtain your fee statement or fee slip immediately.

The student UID and ID cards will be issued by the Heads of Departments (HODs) of therespective departments.
If a student loses their card, they can apply for a duplicate card from their college after making the necessary payment.

Yes, the university provides access to state-of-the-art libraries located in 14 colleges of TMU. These college libraries are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, for 6 days. During examinations, the libraries may remain open for extended hours, (subject to approval). Additionally, there is an air-conditioned central library available for students, which remains open until 12:00 AM.

Each block has computer labs where a Lab Attendant will assist students. Additionally, each block has a library with computers connected to the internet. The campus and all hostels have Wi-Fi, allowing students to connect up to two personal devices to the network.

The TMU Hospital is located at the entrance of Gate No. 1, next to the Punjab National Bank (PNB) within the campus.
TMU has implemented a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. They have established an Anti-Ragging Committee and an Anti-Ragging Squad to address and prevent any instances of ragging.
