The Teerthanker Mahaveer University, established by an 'Act' of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), since inception in 2008, is the preferred destination for students of modern sciences and myriad subjects in languages and arts.
State Government Recognition
Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a Jain Minority State Private University established by Act No. 30 to 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
UGC Recognition
Teerthanker Mahaveer University has been approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and has powers to award degrees u/s 22(1) of UGC Act, 1956.
